Staging. Staging is an important factor in selling a home – even though many agents don’t take the time or effort to have it done. That is why I have a designer on staff that I bring to each appointment after a listing agreement has been signed and before we begin the marketing process.
Rearranging furniture, artwork, and accessories – adding a few hints of color, or removing unnecessary items can increase the value of your home. Home staging can be particularly useful if your home needs updating.
Remember, although you may like the way your home as it is, you have to look at it this way – interior design is for living, staging is for selling.
Marketing. The old days of an agent putting a “for sale” sign in the yard and waiting for a buyer are long gone. Marketing is an essential part of the sale.
